Extend the hike to Sarnia Skała for a rocky peak climb with a dramatic view of the valley and mountains
Strążyska Valley is one of Zakopane's best-kept secrets — a quiet, forested valley that opens up to one of the most dramatic views in the Tatras: the north face of Mt Giewont, known locally as the Sleeping Knight for its distinctive silhouette against the sky.
Your licensed mountain guide will lead you along shaded forest trails into the heart of the valley. Along the way, you'll learn about the rich flora and fauna of the Tatra National Park, the geological forces that shaped these valleys, and the local traditions tied to the landscape.
A highlight of the route is Siklawica — a picturesque waterfall tucked into the valley that makes for a perfect photo stop and a moment to take in the stillness of the forest. From there, the trail continues to the historic Tea House before looping back via Droga Pod Reglami, passing the famous ski jumping area on the return to Zakopane.
This is an easy, rewarding hike that works beautifully for families, couples, and anyone looking for a peaceful half-day in the mountains without a demanding climb. The trails are well-maintained and the pace is relaxed as your guide adjusts to the group.

Oct 2017, came as a couple
Stan is the best mountain guide of Tatra because knows perfectly these mountains and also is a ski instructor and a member of the Voluntary Tatra Mountains Rescue Team. He recommended us the route of the lakes and it was the best choice. The views were beautiful. If we go back to Tatra Mountains we will repeat with his guiding service ¡Thanks for all and see you soon!! Albert and Barbara

We randomly came across Stanislav and decided to have a cave tour with him. We did not have any caving experience before but he really made the adventure safe but exciting! Definitely a professional! My girlfriend was also very happy about the photos he took for us!
