We’re a Family That Loves the Tatras!
We’re a small, family-run company with deep roots in the Tatras and 15 years of experience in mountain hospitality. What started as a love for the Polish highlands has grown into a year-round operation – hand-picking the best stays, curating adventures, and making sure everyone leaves with a story worth telling.
We don’t use AI chatbots or automated itineraries. We’ll always be here to pick the best chalet and activities for you. Whether you’re a couple chasing quiet mountain mornings or a group of friends looking for back-to-back adventures, we’ll shape your stay around you.
It Started With Snow...
I (half-Polish) and a few mates founded Snomads, a winter chalet and adventure company in Bulgaria & Poland that went on to win Best Ski Chalet four years. But every spring, as the snow melted and the Tatras came alive with crocuses, hiking trails, and warm evenings, the same thought kept coming back: why does everyone leave when the best part is just beginning?
Zakopane in summer is a different world. The crowds thin out, the mountains turn green, and the highland culture… the food, the music, the people… it all opens up in a way winter visitors never see. My wife, daughter and I spend so much time in Poland already – so we decided to finally grow roots.
What began as a handful of summer bookings has grown into a dedicated year-round operation in Zakopane, built on the same standards that earned those awards: personal service, quality stays, and experiences that go beyond the guidebook.

Zakopane Summer isn’t our first chapter. Snomads, our winter operation, earned the title of Best Ski Chalet in Bulgaria four years running.

I’m Maks. Half-Polish, and now based in Zakopane almost year-round with my wife, newborn daughter, and our cat!
I personally handles every booking, work directly with each local partner, and build itineraries that help you get the most out of your Zakopane stay. Need a full day of adventures lined up back-to-back? Or something quieter? I’ll map it out.
