The essential Zakopane hike. Morskie Oko — the "Eye of the Sea" — is a stunning glacial lake set deep in a natural amphitheater of granite peaks, and the trail to reach it is one of the most popular in the entire Tatra range — and with good reason.
The route starts from Palenica Białczańska, following a wide, well-maintained path that climbs gradually through the forest. Along the way, your guide will stop at Wodogrzmoty Mickiewicza — a dramatic series of waterfalls named after Poland's greatest poet — before continuing through Włosienica and up to the lake itself.
Then, the Morskie Oko comes into view. The emerald water, the rock walls, and Mt Rysy — Poland's highest peak — rising directly above. Your guide will share the legends, history, and geology of this extraordinary place while you take it all in.
The return follows the same trail back to Palenica Białczańska. It's an easy hike with moderate distance — the only challenge is the length, not the terrain.

Stan is the best mountain guide of Tatra because knows perfectly these mountains and also is a ski instructor and a member of the Voluntary Tatra Mountains Rescue Team. He recommended us the route of the lakes and it was the best choice. The views were beautiful. If we go back to Tatra Mountains we will repeat with his guiding service ¡Thanks for all and see you soon!! Albert and Barbara

We randomly came across Stanislav and decided to have a cave tour with him. We did not have any caving experience before but he really made the adventure safe but exciting! Definitely a professional! My girlfriend was also very happy about the photos he took for us!
