What to expect
The Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum is unlike other day trips you can take from Zakopane. Expect a deeply melancholic experience in the largest Nazi extermination camps. One of the most historically significant places of human tragedy.
With both sites included, covering the camp takes 3-4 hours. Your guide will lead you through the gates, prisoner barracks, crematoria, gas chambers and much more. You’ll see some of the personal belongings of the prisoners. The day trip also covers Auschwitz II Birkenau.
The visit can be emotionally exhausting so we recommend planning the rest of the day accordingly.

Everything Perfect | Paolo is professional, precise and courteous. He was waiting for us at the airport when we arrived in Krakow (it was almost midnight) to take us to the hotel. It allowed us to visit Auschwitz-Birkenau in perfect comfort and tranquility, we then had the plane immediately after the visit, so its perfect organization got us to the airport on time. So if you want to have no worries and visit Krakow and surroundings (also organize other excursions) contact him because it is truly a “5 star service”.

Exceptional service | Pawel was exceptional, as was the service it offers: transfer with guided tour to Auschwitz and the salt mine. He picked us up from under the apartment and was with us the whole time, even offering us sandwiches for lunch as the times were tight. Nice person, helpful and reliable. I absolutely recommend it.
